Projects teams recognise early on customers’ needs and priorities. These can cover anything from the simple requirement of a range of different products, supplied as total package either ex-mill or ex-stock, to a more comprehensive service. In the latter case, the service might consist of a combination of elements such as single point contact management, expediting, specialist packing, shipping, documentation, local “in-country” support and financing – as appropriate.

In between, there are many demands for other different packages. Typically, they might include requirements for extra processing or value added services with technical expertise and support or complex product and supply mixes involving multiple sourcing from different locations and countries. Other customers may seek demanding logistics control, involving multiple handling of products and the arrangement of fast-track shipments within specific time schedules. The variations are infinite.

Team working is vital to the success of any niche project. We work alongside suppliers and customers to provide a tailored supply solution. Where possible, preference is given to the inclusion of Tata products with the intention of maximising Tata content in specific projects. But building strong supplier connections with multi-metal supply capability remains an important element of the business.
